I’ve personally visited each one of my properties and know them all very well. I have selectively chosen only the finest homes in the most desirable locations across a range of price points. I am committed to helping you find the perfect one to meet your needs. Expect wifi, laundry facilities, dishwasher and kitchens to be well stocked with essentials for cooking as well as ample paper products and cleaning supplies.
QUALITY
Properties are freshly cleaned with fresh linens and towels and inspected prior to your arrival. Toiletries (body wash, shampoo and conditioner) are provided.

I own a cottage on Lake Rosseau. My staff have lived in the area for years and know the area well. Our Guidal online app (Jayne’s Cottages Travel Guide) will be available to you months before your arrival which contains local information as well as full details about your cottage as well as additional services available to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Jayne’s Cottages strives towards being environmentally friendly and practicing sustainability wherever possible. Here’s how we strive toward environmental sustainability:
- We supply all natural, non-toxic cleaning agents, laundry detergent, and supplies in the cottages.
- We reduce waste with recycling by providing every guest with recycling bags, and many of our properties have recycling bins. We also provide guests with instructions on how to sort recycling.
- We order our products in bulk and refill plastic bottles to reduce waste to the environment.
- All of our properties have a non-smoking rule.
- We go in to inspect the properties following guest departure to ensure all lights and electronics are turned off.

Lake Joe Chateau is a beautiful cottage, very spacious and a great blend of a more traditionally rustic elements but done in a modern, elegant way. All the bedrooms were fantastic, and we loved the fact that they all had huge ensuite bathrooms (most even had free-standing tubs) - great showerheads and water pressure, we never ran out of hot water which we have experienced at other cottages. Lots of tv's and entertainment at the main cottage and boathouse (trampoline, waterslide). I was pleasantly surprised at how much kid-friendly equipment and toys were at the cottage which was particularly suitable for my two toddlers. We enjoyed cooking large meals every day in the spacious chef's kitchen that was for the most part, very well stocked.

We truly loved A Loons lottery and would love to return with our friends/family for next year. The hotel quality linens, beds, towels, beach towels - it all makes a huge difference! Plus the multiple kayaks! - we were on the water daily and appreciated being able to do a group paddle. From sunsets to warm waters to bbq and eventually the fire pit - we truly enjoyed it all.

We have rented many cottages over the past 20 years, and White Opal is by a margin the best cottage experience we have had. The owner has clearly taken great care with the renovation - every detail is perfect and the quality of the furnishings is top notch. Although the cottage is comfortable in every way, the landscaping might be the highlight. They have figured the relationship of the property to the lake perfectly. One of us stayed in the bunkie and is having severe withdrawal symptoms now that we are back in the city.
As usual the Jayne experience continues to impress. Michelle was fun, friendly and informative. We really felt taken care of. The cottage was impeccably clean and well stocked for our arrival.

Cottage was beautiful with breathtaking views of lakefront. All furnishings, bedding and linens in cottage were of excellent quality. Cottage was soothing and tastefully decorated.

Amenities provided indoors (fully stocked games room with pool/ping pong table, foosball table, surround sound entertainment system and expansive assortment of games) and outdoors (kayaks, fire pit, fish cleaning table, SUPs and well-maintained dock) brought the cottage to a resort destination level. Travelling with young children, we were very appreciative of the first aid kit, sunscreen and bug repellent bin and even a tray of sunglasses for adults/kids to use.
Kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of dishes, cutlery, utensils and appliances. All appliances were in new/excellent working condition. An assortment of serving ware for entertaining (large salad bowls, serving trays and displays) were also available. We did not use them but it shows the thoughtfulness and consideration of the owners for guests who would be entertaining over the course of their stay.
We highly enjoyed our stay at Pigeon Dream. Would definitely recommend and plan to return again in the future. Thank you Jayne’s Cottages for the exceptional service! Thank you Mike and Carrie for sharing your beautiful cottage!

Overall we very much enjoyed Home Away
Jayne did regular follow up with the completion of the boathouse prior to our rental period. This was very much appreciated. Home Away was the third cottage that we rented this summer from Jayne's. We had also rented Breeze Bay and Chalet de Reve in July. Our total stay at the 3 locations was 43 days over the past 2 months.

We had a reservation with another organization that cancelled on us 6 days before we were supposed to arrive. We called Jayne's and Keegan was able to negotiate with the owners of For Shore so that we could still have our vacation on the dates we'd been planning for. We rented kayaks using Jayne's concierge services, and they were waiting for us upon our arrival. We also used the concierge to book a family photography session and our photographer was able to capture so many great Muskoka moments! We've rented many cottages and always bring a box of kitchen supplies because there are always important tools missing. Not this time! Everything from barware to pots and pans were in good condition.
