Port Carling Paradise is located in the prime Muskoka location! Only 5 min drive from Port Carling. Located on Lake Rosseau right in the town of Port Carling close to the locks, where the entrance to Lake Muskoka is found. Known as the hub of the Muskoka Lakes, Port Carling is recognized for its high-end boutique clothing shops, top-of-the-line grocers, and popular restaurants.

PROPERTY

Located in a quiet bay of Lake Rosseau within paddling distance to the darling town of Port Carling. Perched up above water level on gently sloping land, spotted with tall trees and level land for all ages. Follow the wooden pathway down to the rocky shoreline, where guests can enjoy both a sandy, shallow waterfront as well as deep water off the end of the dock. Perfect for families of all ages! 

INTERIOR

This newly-renovated, six bedroom two bathroom cottage is perfect for gatherings of large multi-generational families. Features spacious main areas and an open-concept floor plan, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating areas, an exercise room with a treadmill, a ping pong table and an oversized Muskoka Room! New furniture for dining room and Muskoka Room coming summer of 2018!

MAIN LEVEL

The main level of the cottage is spacious, and features bright main rooms, high ceilings, tasteful decor, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake. An oversized brick fireplace serves as the perfect centerpiece to the upstairs living room, which comes equipped with plenty of seating and doors leading out to the wrap around deck. The dining area is also located on the upper level, and features a dining table that seats 8. Just behind this is the spacious, newly-renovated kitchen area, which comes equipped with plenty of counter space, a bar sink, stainless steel appliances and new hardwood floors. In a separate room adjacent to the Great Room is an oversized Muskoka Room. Another great space for groups to congregate, the Muskoka Room features 360-degree windows, lots of seating, a games table, a TV, and sliding doors leading out to the deck. Also located on the main level are three of the cottage's six bedrooms, along with a shared 3-piece bathroom. There are two Queen bedrooms (one with a private walk-out to deck and wash basin), and one bedroom with a double bed.  

LOWER LEVEL

On the lower level of the cottage, guests will find yet another spacious living area with a flat screen TV. this area is equipped with plenty of comfortable seating, a flat screen TV, an authentic cast iron stove, and sliding doors leading out to the lower deck. A treadmill and ping pong table can also be found on the lower level of the cottage, in a separate room adjacent to the living area. Lastly, three bedrooms are located on this level, along with a shared 3-piece bathroom. There is one Double bedroom, one bedroom with two Twin beds, and another bedroom with two sets of bunk beds (double on bottom, single on top). 

OUTSIDE

There are multi-tiered decks that can be accessed from the upper and lower levels of the cottage.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy by Agency - If the cottage is struck by disaster prior to the start date then the contract will be null and void and payments refunded.

Cancellation Policy by Guest -
Guest may cancel the agreement 150 days prior to the start of the rental period, the deposit will be returned less a fee of $2000 per week of reservation. If the Guest cancels the agreement 61 to 149 days prior to the start of the rental all deposits will be forfeited. If the Guest cancels the agreement less than 60 days before the start of the rental agreement the Guest is responsible for the full amount of the rent and is not entitled to any refund.

Deposit Policy
Deposit Policy - 50% of Rental Amount is due at time of booking, 25% if booked the calendar year prior to the rental and 25% on January 1 of the rental year. Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Please note that there is a $250 penalty associated with late payment of the balance between 59-46 days prior to the commencement of the rental that will be charged to your credit card. At 45 days prior to the rental, Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking as cancelled as per below.

Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking of any Guest as cancelled in the event that: a) the Guest gives written notification of cancellation; b) the Guest fails to pay the full deposit due or the balance of rent by the time specified above. In the event that the booking is so cancelled, Jayne's Cottages may re-book the property for the period concerned or for part of that period.
