AREA
Deja Blue is nestled along the shores of Long Lake, located just south of the town of Bala. A short 5 minute drive into Bala will bring you the cranberry capital of Ontario!! Visit Johnston's Cranberry Marsh & Muskoka Lakes Winery to wade in ponds amongst floating cranberries. Stop at the famous Don's Bakery for a sweet treat on the way home! 25 minutes to Gravenhurst and 20 minutes to Port Carling!

PROPERTY
DEJA BLUE is perched up above water level on gently sloping land, surrounded by tall towering trees and green vegetation. From the driveway, the main cottage is situated a few short steps down a stone path to the Main Cottage. Follow another stoney path that wraps around the right side of the main cottage, and down stairs to the rocky shoreline. Here guests will find an outdoor living area equipped with 2 umbrellas, a couch and wicker chair set! The L-shaped dock offers plenty of boat parking and areas to relax. 2 loungers and 4 Muskoka chairs can be used to enjoy the view from under the shade of a large umbrella. Deep water off the end of the dock allows for diving and swimming out to the floating platform! Swim back to shore and bask in the all day sun while enjoying a drink from the swim-up table. End your day encircled around the shoreline fire pit while watching the sun set along the horizon!

INTERIOR
MAIN COTTAGE
This 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage is the perfect destination for an intimate getaway. Welcomed by an open-concept floor plan, you enter into the kitchen which is equipped with new appliances and a square island, with seating for 5. Transition into the dining area, framed by wooden beams and accommodates 6 comfortably. Off to the right, you will find 2 bedrooms equipped with queen beds and another room with a king. Wake-up to stunning views of the lake from your king bed!! In the living room enjoy those same panoramic view from your couch while the gas fireplace flickers away.

BUNKIE
The bright, newly renovated, 2 room bunkie is the complete package! With a inviting propane fireplace situated at the foot of the king bed, a 2 seater sofa and 3 piece bathroom, this bunkie provides all the necessary features for a cozy night on Long Lake.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy:
If the Property is for any reason not rentable prior to commencement of the Rental Period then the Guest Agreement will be null and void and all Advance Deposits will be refunded to the Guest’s credit card within 7 days of cancellation. No additional refund or damages will be paid to the Guest or Guests.

Cancellation Policy by Guest:
For rentals under $20,000/week, a Guest may cancel the agreement 150 days or more prior to the start of the rental period and the deposit will be returned, less a fee of $2,000/week of reservation. For rentals between $20,000/week and $40,000/week, a Guest may cancel the agreement 150 days or more prior to the start of the rental period and the deposit will be returned, less a fee of $4,000/week of reservation. For rentals over $60,000/week, a Guest may cancel the agreement 150 days or more prior to the start of the rental period and the deposit will be returned, less a fee of $6,000/week of reservation.

If the Guest cancels the agreement 61 to 149 days prior to the start of the rental, all deposits will be forfeited.
If the Guest cancels the agreement less than 60 days before the start of the rental agreement, the Guest is responsible for the full amount of the rent and is not entitled to any refund.

Cancellation Policy on Concierge Services: Full refund on deposits made 31 days or more prior to arrival. For cancellation of concierge service for arrivals less than 31 days away, all deposits will be forfeited.

Deposit Policy

Deposit Policy: 50% of Rental Amount is due at time of booking.  If your rental's arrival date is greater than 6 months from the booking date, the 25% is due upon booking and 25% is due 6 months prior to the commencement of the rental.  Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Please note that there is a $250 penalty associated with late payment of the balance between 59-46 days prior to the commencement of the rental that will be charged to your credit card. At 45 days prior to the rental, Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking as cancelled as per below.

Security Deposit Policy:
Security Deposit: The Security Deposit is calculated as 40% of the peak season weekly rental rate for 1 week rentals and 25% of the total rental value if the reservation is longer than 2 weeks. If the rental period is not in the peak season, there is a minimum security deposit that will be applied.

Payment Fees:
Credit Card - If you are paying with credit card, the service fee for AMEX is 3.8% and Mastercard/VISA is 3%.
Wire - If you are paying via wire transfer, the service fee is $17 per wire.

Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking of any Guest as cancelled in the event that: a) the Guest gives written notification of cancellation; b) the Guest fails to pay the full deposit due or the balance of rent by the time specified above. In the event that the booking is so cancelled, Jayne's Cottages may re-book the property for the period concerned or for part of that period.

LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS
Bookings made within 24 hours of arrival will be charged an additional $1,000 Booking Fee.
Bookings made within 48 hours of arrival will be charged a $500 Booking Fee.
