East Bay Charm is located in East Bay, Torrance, on Lake Muskoka around the corner from East Bay Marina. 10 minute drive to Bala, 20 minutes to Port Carling or Gravenhurst.
PROPERTY
East Bay Charm enjoys 245 feet of prime Lake Muskoka shoreline, all-day sun and breathtaking sunrises, a sandy beach and level land - perfect for families of all ages! Property also comes equipped with a 2-slip boathouse and a sun-drenched, 1300 sq. ft. boathouse deck with lounge furniture! Kayak and Paddle Boat included in rental! Shallow sandy waterfront. It has been rumored that the prior owners of the cottage had 16 dump trunks worth of sand dumped at the water's edge in the 1980s! Water is shallow for about 10 feet, until it becomes waist-height.
INTERIOR
With two fireplaces, whitewashed wood-paneled walls, a 300 sq. ft. screened-in Muskoka Room and elegant wood beam ceilings, East Bay Charm feels quintessentially Muskokan. Featuring a bright, open concept eat-in kitchen with plenty of counter space, a centre island and 3 bar stools, along with a spacious dining area and table that seats 8. Also located on the main floor is the living room, which provides another great space for families and large groups to congregate. This room comes equipped with a wood-burning fireplace, comfortable seating, and large windows overlooking the lake. Alternatively, the oversized Muskoka Room is perfect for those hot summer nights. 300 sq. ft. in size, this screened-in room is impeccably furnished and offers unbeatable views of Lake Muskoka. There are four bedrooms located on the main floor of the cottage: 1 Double bedroom, 1 King bedroom with ensuite, and 2 Queen bedrooms. Two bathrooms are located on this floor, including a 3-piece Master ensuite, and a shared 3-piece bathroom.
LOWER LEVEL
There is a large family room located on the lower level of the cottage, featuring an oversized stone fireplace, comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, and sliding doors to outside. The two remaining bedrooms can be found on the lower level of the cottage, as well as a Jack and Jill bathroom and a 3-piece bathroom. There is 1 King bedroom, and one room with 2 twin beds. There is covered seating outside the lower level walkout.
