Four Winds = 4 Sleeping Structures on windward side - no bugs & beautiful onshore breeze! Cottage, Guest Cabin, Boathouse & 3 car garage each with King or Queen beds and living areas and new bathroom. AC & 500 sq. ft. Master suite.

Great proximity to shopping, golf, dining and entertainment! 5 min from Bracebridge, 10 min from Taboo Golf & Resort and 5 minute drive or quick boat ride across the bay to Kirby Beach - the best beach on Lake Muskoka.

PROPERTY
Great for 2 or 3 families!
Natural paths run from the various property dwellings stitched together with tasteful landscaping of Muskoka granite and decorative sitting areas throughout the complex. The Main Cottage is surrounded by large rock and built into a large granite rock shelf while the other structures are graduated down the property towards the waterfront.
Western views offer long sunsets over Lake Muskoka. The waterside fire pit allows for marshmallow roasting!
Four Winds is known for its privacy. One side of the property is gated with a babbling brook with waterfall that mesmerizes you as you take in the beautiful Muskoka surroundings. The large 1.3 acre property with a private driveway contains several flagstone and natural paths connecting from Cottage to Guest Cabin to Boathouse etc... The grounds contain several sitting areas scattered around the property so you can get the most out of the wonderful Muskoka vistas.
INTERIOR
Main Cottage contains 3 bedrooms, commercial sized gourmet kitchen with double-wide stainless side-by-side fridge-freezer, double Miele wall ovens, chef's gas stove, large granite island with 3 stools and an extra bar sink. Separate bar area with wine fridge and bar area. Muskoka screened-in porch off the kitchen and outdoor deck off the Master. There are two sitting areas in the Great Room, separated by a gorgeous long dining table which easily seats 10 with an Antler Chandelier. Fireplaces accompany both sitting areas, one is wood-burning and also contains the large flat screen (Satellite )TV and the other sitting area has a gas fireplace and  overlooks Lake Muskoka and the Guest Bunkie and Boathouse. The laundry room has a Washer/Dryer, laundry sink and extra stainless steel fridge and a Powder Room.  The new Master suite has a King bed with walkout to deck, large double sink with large shower.  The 2nd  is also a King and the 3rd and 4th bedrooms are Queen. The 2 Queens share a beautiful white glassed in shower bathroom and the other 2 King bedrooms have their own ensuite.
Guest Cabin is a few steps down the beautifully-manicured path and contains a lovely large cabin with large living area, 2 bedrooms (Queen and Two Singles), nice new bathroom with shower, kitchenette and screened in porch overlooking the boathouse and lakefront.
The Boathouse is gorgeous inside and out!  The lower deck contains two slips for boats (one slip can be available for the rental if required), canoe, kayak and lounge chairs that can be moved under a retractable automatic awning for some shade at the water's edge. The front of the boathouse contains ceiling fans, Muskoka chairs and a double rocking bench affixed to the upper deck by a chain. The upper boathouse contains 4 lounge chairs.  Inside the boathouse is a living room with 2 futons, King bedroom, new bathroom with glassed-in shower and kitchenette.  
The 3-car garage has sleeping quarters above it. King bed with new bathroom with shower, large sitting area and TV.

We want to take this time and send out a huge thank you for our awesome vacation. From the moment I started my conversations with you about booking a cottage for our family, till the moment we left the cottage, we were so happy with your services. We met some awesome staff of yours over the past 2 weeks we felt really Blessed.

The cottage and the whole cottage grounds was amazing and we are thankful to the cottage owners for opening their cottage up to us as strangers to them. We met the property manager a couple times and he was so friendly and willing to help with what ever we needed. We are just so thankful for the awesome time we could have together as family. We are hoping that we left everything to your satisfaction as well.

Thank you once again Jayne for all you have done for us along the way.
We definetly will book for 2018 with you again. We would really consider Four Winds again

Jayne was amazing. She met us at Four Winds a month in advance so we could see the place and plan before our holiday. She had lots of ideas and offered the names of caterers, boat rentals, and shopping places, and she met us when we arrived.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy:
If the Property is for any reason not rentable prior to commencement of the Rental Period then the Guest Agreement will be null and void and all Advance Deposits will be refunded to the Guest’s credit card within 7 days of cancellation. No additional refund or damages will be paid to the Guest or Guests.

Cancellation Policy by Guest:
For rentals under $20,000/week, a Guest may cancel the agreement 150 days or more prior to the start of the rental period and the deposit will be returned, less a fee of $2,000/week of reservation. For rentals between $20,000/week and $40,000/week, a Guest may cancel the agreement 150 days or more prior to the start of the rental period and the deposit will be returned, less a fee of $4,000/week of reservation. For rentals over $60,000/week, a Guest may cancel the agreement 150 days or more prior to the start of the rental period and the deposit will be returned, less a fee of $6,000/week of reservation.

If the Guest cancels the agreement 61 to 149 days prior to the start of the rental, all deposits will be forfeited.
If the Guest cancels the agreement less than 60 days before the start of the rental agreement, the Guest is responsible for the full amount of the rent and is not entitled to any refund.

Cancellation Policy on Concierge Services: Full refund on deposits made 31 days or more prior to arrival. For cancellation of concierge service for arrivals less than 31 days away, all deposits will be forfeited.

Deposit Policy

Deposit Policy: 50% of Rental Amount is due at time of booking.  If your rental's arrival date is greater than 6 months from the booking date, the 25% is due upon booking and 25% is due 6 months prior to the commencement of the rental.  Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Please note that there is a $250 penalty associated with late payment of the balance between 59-46 days prior to the commencement of the rental that will be charged to your credit card. At 45 days prior to the rental, Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking as cancelled as per below.

Security Deposit Policy:
Security Deposit: The Security Deposit is calculated as 40% of the peak season weekly rental rate for 1 week rentals and 25% of the total rental value if the reservation is longer than 2 weeks. If the rental period is not in the peak season, there is a minimum security deposit that will be applied.

Payment Fees:
Credit Card - If you are paying with credit card, the service fee for AMEX is 3.8% and Mastercard/VISA is 3%.
Wire - If you are paying via wire transfer, the service fee is $17 per wire.

Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking of any Guest as cancelled in the event that: a) the Guest gives written notification of cancellation; b) the Guest fails to pay the full deposit due or the balance of rent by the time specified above. In the event that the booking is so cancelled, Jayne's Cottages may re-book the property for the period concerned or for part of that period.

LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS
Bookings made within 24 hours of arrival will be charged an additional $1,000 Booking Fee.
Bookings made within 48 hours of arrival will be charged a $500 Booking Fee.
