Whether wish to experience the Farmers Market in the town of Rosseau, or enjoy the shopping and restaurants in Port Carling, these amenities are only 7 minutes and 21 minutes away respectively! For golf and activity enthusiasts, the JW Marriott and The Rock Golf Course are only 5 minutes away, proving Home Away's proximity as one of the best in the region!
PROPERTY
HOME AWAY is positioned atop a gentle slope and amongst the trees on a classic Muskoka property. With rocks and trees all around as well as 235 feet of frontage, this cottage provides a serene environment. A spacious deck off of the main level of the cottage features a BBQ as well as an outdoor teak dining set with a large wooden table and 6 chairs surrounding it. A nicely groomed yet naturally designed pathway leads you through the property and down towards the fire pit, boathouse and dock. The fire pit is located close to the water and is a perfect place to roast marshmallows or keep warm on a cool summer night! An abundance of fire wood is located just a stones throw away from the fire pit. The 2-slip interior boathouse offers docks on both sides, which come furnished with 4 Muskoka chairs, 2 loungers and an umbrella, perfect for taking in the sun or supervising swimming. The cottage offers amazing swimming conditions including a sandy area as well as a depth of about 8 feet off the end of the dock. In 2022, a new Boathouse which features 2 interior slips, an upper deck, and lower 16x16 seating area is now a welcome addition!
