Centred along the North shoreline of Maple Lake, In Awe is just 15 minutes from Rosseau! Here, enjoy the Farmer's Market each Friday morning in the summer months, fine dine at a local favourite "Crossroads" and find all of your grocery needs at the Rosseau General Store. The town of Parry Sound is 20 minutes in the opposite direction and features a greater selection of shops and restaurants. Special mention to "The Log Cabin", "Trestle Brewing Company" and the popular Turtle Jacks! The hub of Muskoka, Port Carling, is 40 minutes away while the town of Huntsville is 45 minutes away. In Awe is just minutes outside of Orrville where you will find the Seguin hiking trail (offering ATVing in the summer) as well as Saturday morning market on the Green!
Maple lake offers great boating for water sports and fishing. A free boat launch can be found on Tally Ho Swords Road just a few minutes away. On Maple Lake you will also find a playground and small beach area, perfect for children! Featured at the southeast end of Maple Lake, is access into the enchanting river that winds into Mutton Lake! From the North West end, kayak or canoe into Duck Lake and continue on, with a small portage or through some rapids into Isabella Lake!
The Georgian Bay waterfront in Parry Sound offers flight & boat tours of the Georgian Bay biosphere and 30,000 islands! Fly to Henry's restaurant at Frying Pan Island from the town dock. For an excellent afternoon outing, Killbear Provincial Park is 40 minutes northwest offering great hiking trails, beaches and a nature centre! From Killbear head to Sung Harbour where Gilly's restaurant sits on the water's edge and offers excellent fish dinners!

The 655 ft of lakefront gently curves along the Muskoka granite shoreline that warms the lake for perfect swimming. Enjoy outstanding sunsets from the dock Muskoka chairs, large wrap around deck with bar & swivel bar stools or the comfy all season Muskoka room. Take the kayaks, canoe or paddle boat out for a quiet tour of the lakes & rivers or rev up the motor of the new 14 ft aluminum boat & go fishing. Launch your own larger power boat or jet ski at the free boat launch just minutes across the lake then tie up at our deep water dock that accommodates up to a 20 ft. boat. Water sports enthusiasts will love the calm waters here. Enjoy lazy days in a hammock with the gentle breeze off the lake providing comfort & serenity. Sneak off to the Lookout bench for quiet reflection & perhaps you’ll see the otter or beaver playing. Cook with wood fire on the waterfront cowboy cauldron, sit around the campfire roasting marshmallows at the fire pit patio or enjoy cooking gas BBQ style on the deck...it’s all good. From the whistling Loons to the chirping chipmunks, the wildlife & many birds are welcome entertainment. At night see the milky way & thousands of stars reflecting over the lake & if you’re lucky a show of fireflies or meteor showers.

IN AWE - Convenience is key with this cottage situated 14 km from Hwy 400, right off Hwy 518, just 2 minutes to Orrville with a Library, Antique Shop, Real Estate office, Saturday morning Market on the Green. A big plus is the best know section of the Park to Park trail, known as the historic 80 km Seguin Trail, offering hiking, ATVing, mountain biking & fishing is right in Orrville. Drive an easy 15 minutes south east to Rosseau for Friday morning markets at the Lake Rosseau Dock, Crossroads Restaurant (make reservations, it’s popular casual fine dining), Historic General Store and many wonderful shops. Head back out toward Hwy 400 & 20 minutes later you’re in Parry Sound with multiple grocery, restaurant and big box store options as well as the smaller shops and waterfront pier. Take a cruise or flight over the 30,000 islands, explore multiple options plus hiking & outdoor activities. A favourite dining experience is The Log Cabin just 15 minutes away. Want to go to Huntsville, 45 minutes or Port Carling about the same & both beautiful drives with great scenery. Just north of Parry Sound is Killbear Provincial Park, worth the drive of 45 minutes and in the same area go to Gilly’s Restaurant at Snug Harbour for great fish on the waterfront. So much to do in the area or simply wrap yourself up “IN AWE”.

"IN AWE" - Arrive via a sloping, well lit driveway which features a nice turn around area and parking for 4 at the cottage. Nestled amongst towering white pine, cedar and hemlock trees which offer refuge for an abundance of birds, chipmunks and squirrels, In Awe is a very serene environment. The property includes 655 feet of frontage, wrapping around the end of the point and half way down the bay. Various vantage points provide spectacular views across the lake, to the bridge and over the Narrows feeding into Duck Lake. Down the natural granite shoreline a cowboy cauldron surrounded by a bench and 2 Muskoka chairs invites you for a cook-out lunch! A small elevated garden offers greens and various herbs to accentuate your meal on the picnic table. An additional fire pit features 6 Muskoka Chairs upon a flat stone patio. Further down, deep water off the end of the dock provides the perfect cannonball conditions! Six Orange Muskoka Chairs with side tables rest atop the 2 slip dock.
A deck off the Muskoka Room wraps around the cottage boasting a 290 degree view overlooking the lake. Outdoor dining for 6 can be found beneath an umbrella. The deck also features an outdoor sofa with matching chairs, BBQ and 4 swivel bar stools along the pergola bar!

Neptune’s 76” 2 person Cleopatra Active air / Chromatherapy tub offers the ultimate in relaxation with a view of the lake out the Gothic window that is surrounded by a “work of art” glass / mosaic wall, inspired by towering white pines. Other relaxing features include the Master’s 2 person Steam shower room, with wifi speaker to unwind & detox at day’s end plus a large flat screen tv you can watch in privacy of your bedroom. The Muskoka Room offers lake views on 3 sides while lounging on comfy furniture, in any weather, or close the glass door to the kitchen and blast the flat screen TV without bothering anyone. Black stainless Kitchen Aid appliances compliment the well appointed kitchen designed with ergonomics in mind. Congregate in the open concept Great room and kitchen while meals are prepped, with views of the lake from

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy by Agency -
If the Cottage Property is for any reason not rentable prior to commencement of the Rental Period then the Guest Agreement will be null and void and all Advance Deposits will be refunded to the Guest’s credit card within 7 days of cancellation. No additional refund or damages will be paid to the Guest or Guests.
Cancellation Policy by Guest -
Guest may cancel the agreement before150 days prior to the start of the rental period, the deposit will be returned less a fee of $2000 per week of reservation if rental is under $20,000 per week. For rentals at $20,000 and over, the cancellation fee is $4000/week of rental. If the Guest cancels the agreement 61 to 149 days prior to the start of the rental all deposits will be forfeited. If the Guest cancels the agreement less than 60 days before the start of the rental agreement the Guest is responsible for the full amount of the rent and is not entitled to any refund.
Cancellation Policy on Concierge Services - Full refund on deposits made 31 days or more prior to arrival. For cancellation of concierge service for arrivals less than 31 days away, all deposits will be forfeited.
Deposit Policy
Deposit Policy - 50% of Rental Amount is due at time of booking. If your rental's arrival date is greater than 6 months, the 25% is due upon booking and 25% is due 6 months prior to the commencement of the rental. Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Please note that there is a $250 penalty associated with late payment of the balance between 59-46 days prior to the commencement of the rental that will be charged to your credit card. At 45 days prior to the rental, Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking as cancelled as per below.
Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking of any Guest as cancelled in the event that: a) the Guest gives written notification of cancellation; b) the Guest fails to pay the full deposit due or the balance of rent by the time specified above. In the event that the booking is so cancelled, Jayne's Cottages may re-book the property for the period concerned or for part of that period.
LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS
Bookings made within 24 hours of arrival will be charged an additional $1000 Booking Fee.
Bookings made within 48 hours of arrival will be charged a $500 Booking Fee.

for comfort and beauty. Maple Lake was stunning, quiet and great place for swimming and canoeing. We look
