Pinecrest Cottage is located on Pine Island, Lake Muskoka - only a short boat ride away from deeded mainland parking and docking (off Muskoka Road #118, between Beaumaris and Bracebridge).
Towering pines, cool breezes, complete privacy and unbeatable views of Lake Muskoka are the hallmarks of this island property. Pine Crest Cottage features a large 2-storey main cottage & 2-slip boathouse with upstairs living quarters. There are both deep and shallow waterfront areas, and an additional 'swimming dock located on the other side of the property. The main dock and boathouse deck are both equipped with a variety of lounge furniture, outdoor dining for 6 and multiple umbrellas for shade! There is also a deck located off the main cottage with lounge chairs, outdoor dining and a BBQ.
The bright interior of Pinecrest Cottage brings a feeling of cottagey comfort. Featuring an open concept main floor with stunning Birchwood vaulted ceilings and walls, oversized windows overlooking the lake, and dark wood accents. Natural light flows in from windows and doors throughout, providing light during the day and spectacular views at night. The dining area, located near the entrance of the cottage, features a lovely dark wood dining table that seats eight. Adjacent to the dining area is the spacious eat-in kitchen, which comes equipped with plenty of counter space, double sinks, a two-door refrigerator with a built-in ice maker, and an oversized island with four stools. The living area is located on the far side of the Great Room, and features a large, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, a sitting area, and a door leading out to the spacious upper deck. Also located on the main floor is the quaint Muskoka room, equipped with retractable screened-in windows, wood-beamed ceilings, a sitting area & a flat screen TV. Lastly, there are a King and Queen bedroom located on the main floor of the cottage. The Master has a KIng and is the larger of the two, and features a TV, walkout to outside deck and a full 3-piece ensuite bathroom. There is also an additional 3-piece bathroom located on the main floor.
There is a second living room located on the lower level of the cottage, equipped with a large stone fireplace, a sitting area, a foosball table, and doors leading out to the lower deck. There are two additional bedrooms located on the lower level of the cottage, along with one 3-piece bathroom. There is a king bedroom and a bunk bedroom - double on bottom, single on top.
Cottage includes 4 hours of midweek housekeeping per week.

Cancellation Policy by Guest -
Guest may cancel the agreement 150 days prior to the start of the rental period, the deposit will be returned less a fee of $2000 per week of reservation, if rental is under $20,000 per week. For rentals at $20,000 and over, the cancellation fee is $4000/week of rental. If the Guest cancels the agreement 61 to 149 days prior to the start of the rental all deposits will be forfeited. If the Guest cancels the agreement less than 60 days before the start of the rental agreement the Guest is responsible for the full amount of the rent and is not entitled to any refund.
Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking of any Guest as cancelled in the event that: a) the Guest gives written notification of cancellation; b) the Guest fails to pay the full deposit due or the balance of rent by the time specified above. In the event that the booking is so cancelled, Jayne's Cottages may re-book the property for the period concerned or for part of that period.
