Renew cottage is located on Robinson Lake that feeds into the larger lake of Lake Vernon, providing the best of both worlds with the privacy and serenity of a smaller lake but with an easy boat ride to the amenities on Lake Vernon. Enjoy easy boating access to Peninsula Lake, Fairy Lake and through 1 lock to Mary Lake! Close to Huntsville, a gorgeous Muskoka town located in Ontario's premier four-season vacation destination. Fabulous golf, biking and hiking nature trails, snowmobiling, boating, or just take in some shopping, a spa treatment or festival. Please note boat access from Robinson Lake to Lake Vernon gets quite shallow (especially into August), regular ski boats are not an issue, but boats with deeper engines or sailbox keels could have problems getting through.
PROPERTY
RENEW - The owners created this architectural gem with the theme "natural" in mind - using all real quality elements of wood and metal bringing new life into natural materials, hence its name "Renew." The cottage is remnants of a timber log structure mixed with architectural metal panels. Clad in large windows and decking, focusing on bringing the outside in, this really is the perfect place to enjoy your natural surroundings. The main level of the cottage opens up to a large wrap-around deck/covered porch and Muskoka Room which has automatic screens that can lower and seal the area from mosquitos. From the lower level media room with a 150' projector screen and Dolby Atmos 7.2 surround sound, walk out to the large grassy lawn with a firepit and Muskoka chair seating for 8. A boardwalk brings you down to the waterfront where there is a large 20x24 dock with seating and wifi connection! Beautiful swimming conditions with a 6' depth at the dock and just a quick swim to the 15' water trampoline! Another amazing feature of the property is the olympic-sized beach volleyball court with beach seating for spectators. This 15 acre property offers lots of private open land and meadows to discover, play & relax!

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy by Agency -
If the Cottage Property is for any reason not rentable prior to commencement of the Rental Period then the Guest Agreement will be null and void and all Advance Deposits will be refunded to the Guest’s credit card within 7 days of cancellation. No additional refund or damages will be paid to the Guest or Guests.
Cancellation Policy by Guest -
Guest may cancel the agreement before150 days prior to the start of the rental period, the deposit will be returned less a fee of $2000 per week of reservation if rental is under $20,000 per week. For rentals at $20,000 and over, the cancellation fee is $4000/week of rental. If the Guest cancels the agreement 61 to 149 days prior to the start of the rental all deposits will be forfeited. If the Guest cancels the agreement less than 60 days before the start of the rental agreement the Guest is responsible for the full amount of the rent and is not entitled to any refund.
Cancellation Policy on Concierge Services - Full refund on deposits made 31 days or more prior to arrival. For cancellation of concierge service for arrivals less than 31 days away, all deposits will be forfeited.
Deposit Policy
Deposit Policy - 50% of Rental Amount is due at time of booking. If your rental's arrival date is greater than 6 months, the 25% is due upon booking and 25% is due 6 months prior to the commencement of the rental. Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Please note that there is a $250 penalty associated with late payment of the balance between 59-46 days prior to the commencement of the rental that will be charged to your credit card. At 45 days prior to the rental, Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking as cancelled as per below.
Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking of any Guest as cancelled in the event that: a) the Guest gives written notification of cancellation; b) the Guest fails to pay the full deposit due or the balance of rent by the time specified above. In the event that the booking is so cancelled, Jayne's Cottages may re-book the property for the period concerned or for part of that period.
LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS
Bookings made within 24 hours of arrival will be charged an additional $1000 Booking Fee.
Bookings made within 48 hours of arrival will be charged a $500 Booking Fee.

"Ascetically Beautiful"
The cottage was ascetically beautiful, its proximity to Huntsville was great. Being able to boat to Huntsville was great fun. Also the weather was variable and we lived in the Muskoka room, which was the best with the automatic screens. Such a great room for cards games and bug free dinners. The Jaynes experience was great all the linens were clean, plentiful and fresh. Tina the property contact was a great resource during our stay.
"Outstanding"
The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The Muskoka room was incredible. The property was outstanding - all day sun on the dock and virtually a private lake to enjoy! The cottage owners live 2 doors down and are absolutely wonderful people and very helpful if anything was needed. Jayne's staff was there if needed and very helpful as always. As this is our 4th summer in a row using Jayne's, we have become quite comfortable with the procedures and find that we reach out less than in earlier years - however when we do need to reach out, they are always there with an answer.

Renew cottage was a beautiful space. We enjoyed every inch of it.. the fact that it was brand new was what attracted us to this property.
Renew was an outstanding cottage. The log cabin base combined with the modern elements of the rest of this new cottage is brilliant. Every space is well thought out and the entire cottage is well appointed from top to bottom. Situated on quiet Robinson Lake it was a truly relaxing environment, however we did have access to Lake Vernon which allowed us to go exploring and for longer rides on our Sea Doo. We even took the Sea Doo into Huntsville to go shopping.
Highlights would include;
The Muskoka room with motorized retracting screens and and gas fireplace. e had all of our dinner in this room.
The home theatre was a comfortable place to gather and the picture quality was excellent.
The fire pit area with eight Muskoka chairs was a great place for all of us to be together after dinner. Firewood was provided.
The dock on this quiet lake was accessed via the "boardwalk" that was lit at night. We made use of the canoe and standup paddle boards.
I hope that we are able to go back either this winter or next summer.
