Perched atop a massive Muskoka granite rock face, Wanderlust is surrounded by native white pines, oaks and juniper trees with lavender gardens. Dotted with Muskoka chairs and well traveled by flagstone walkways, this property bares witness to the sort of breathtaking waterfront views this area has become known for. Enjoy a quiet night under the stars talking by firelight, or a swim from the dock, cook, dine and entertain outdoors at Wanderlust with comfort, privacy and ease.
Enter through a grand granite stone interior walkway which opens into the home or extends to the outdoor entertaining deck with large Weber BBQ unit and sitting area. Throughout the home is a calm and soothing neutral pallet of walls, white oiled oak flooring and furniture which bring a modest elegance to the interior of this luxury retreat. Wanderlust is equipped with an intercom and sound system, as well as electronic blinds throughout the entire cottage. Stone and granite accent the decor perfectly, while a piano ties the entire space together with class.
There is a two sided gas fireplace directly adjacent to a dining room table that seats up to 10 guests. The fireplace extends to the Great Room again surrounded by windows. Natural south facing light pours into every room during the day, bringing a warm liveliness to every room. A bright and functional kitchen features top end stainless appliances including a Wolf stovetop and oven and fridge and freezer unit and a Krupps coffee station. Four bar stools line the outer kitchen counter framed under three restaurant style light fixtures. There are 7 bedrooms in all with 2 on the main floor both with ensuites, providing accommodation for large groups and families. Second level featured room is the "Turret", which is a circular shaped room overlooking Lake Muskoka with high ceilings and walls of window and built in bar area and sink. There is also the Master with 5 piece ensuite and separate WC, and 4 other bedrooms, 2 in the upper foyer area each with ensuites and there is a back Guest Wing featuring a sitting area and 2 bedrooms and bathroom.
The "bunkie" at Wanderlust is a fully contained one bedroom suite with sitting room with pull out sofa, beautiful bathroom with claw tub and glassed in shower and twin bedroom for ultimate privacy and solitude. There is a private west facing deck off of the sitting room.
Just outside of the bunkie is an outdoor shower.

Cancellation Policy by Agency - If the cottage is struck by disaster prior to the start date then the contract will be null and void and payments refunded.
Cancellation Policy by Guest -
Guest may cancel the agreement 150 days prior to the start of the rental period, the deposit will be returned less a fee of $2000 per week of reservation. If the Guest cancels the agreement 61 to 149 days prior to the start of the rental all deposits will be forfeited. If the Guest cancels the agreement less than 60 days before the start of the rental agreement the Guest is responsible for the full amount of the rent and is not entitled to any refund.

Deposit Policy - 50% of Rental Amount is due at time of booking, 25% if booked the calendar year prior to the rental and 25% on January 1 of the rental year. Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Please note that there is a $250 penalty associated with late payment of the balance between 59-46 days prior to the commencement of the rental that will be charged to your credit card. At 45 days prior to the rental, Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking as cancelled as per below.
Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking of any Guest as cancelled in the event that: a) the Guest gives written notification of cancellation; b) the Guest fails to pay the full deposit due or the balance of rent by the time specified above. In the event that the booking is so cancelled, Jayne's Cottages may re-book the property for the period concerned or for part of that period.
