Private chefs

Enjoy freshly prepared meals with the highest quality ingredients without ever leaving the cottage! We can provide customized menus to suit you, your family and guests’ preferences and dietary requirements. Our chefs are friendly, discreet, and trustworthy. You can also enjoy chef-prepared, high quality meals delivered right to your door with our pre-made meal service.

Pickups and deliveries

From Amazon packages to appliances we can receive, pickup, and deliver your precious cargo if you are away from the cottage or having a busy day!

Shopping Service – Groceries and LCBO

Spend more time with friends and family and let our concierge team do your cottage shopping for you. It would be our pleasure to pick up items such as: groceries, wine & spirits, prepared meals, flowers, and personal care items.

Housekeeping

Our professional cleaning team can help provides the highest standards of service in the area. We use both effective and eco-friendly cleaning products that have been thoroughly tested.

Spa and wellness

We can arrange thoroughly vetted, top-quality spa services to help you feel refreshed and rejuvenated like RMT or spa massages, manicures & pedicures, facials, and wellness IVs.

Fitness and sports instruction

From waterskiing to wakesurfing to swimming to tennis and more, we work with a variety of friendly and professional instructors to learn new skills or brush up on old ones.

Water toy rentals

Rent anything from kayaks to canoes to waterbikes to bounce platforms to lily pads to make the most of your days on the water.

We can schedule trades on your behalf to ensure safe, secure, and timely scheduling as well as billing of your work orders including on-premise supervision.

Security checks

For both insurance purposes as well as peace of mind over the winter months, we offer weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly property checks.

Property maintenance

Our team can perform a variety of checks as well as repairs and replacements around your cottage.

Preventative maintenance

Stay on top of property maintenance with tailor-made maintenance schedules and recommendations to avoid wear and tear and more costly potential repairs and replacements.

Opening and closing

Your second home is likely your favorited place to be, yet you don’t use it all the time. Taking care of this investment is the single most important job we do. We want you to be secure in knowing that we have all the bases covered and you at the center of our thoughts.

We make the process simple for you, meeting personally with you to go over all your concerns, such as personally greeting the Guests upon arrival, key handling, insurance, what to do with your valuables, house rules, cleaning, inspection after departure etc. And returning your house to you like it was never used. We have it all figured out.

We present a “hotel-experience” for your Guests including guaranteeing our availability 24/7 so they feel like they are taken care of. We greet them personally at your property with a Gift Basket and are there to help them with local advice and Concierge services. And we inspect your cottage prior to their arrival and immediately after their departure. We take care of it all so you don’t need to think about it!

Jayne’s Cottages turned our Muskoka waterfront property from a costly liability--to a prime asset. When we first started exploring cottage rental opportunities, we were initially discouraged due to the low rent rates, lack of occupancy offered, and cost-prohibitive upgrades that were demanded of us from another agency. It wasn’t until my friend told me to call Jayne’s—just to play the field a bit—that our luck changed not only for the better, but the best. Within just a few phone calls I found myself speaking with Jayne herself, who candidly came over with her photographer, who sized up and shot our place professionally. No joke, within a week and just a few minor upgrades we were “rent ready” and on the market. Even better, Jayne’s landed us with two VIP clients who paid top dollar (almost double what the other agency offered) for a span of around three weeks. The result: money in the bank, and a new appreciation of our cottage as an income generator. It is now self-sustainable, if not profitable when considering its appreciating value with the renos and upkeep required to keep us in business.
