Huntsville is surrounded by over 1,000 lakes as well as Arrowhead Provincial Park. It also has a thriving cultural scene and hosts many festivals and events throughout the year.

It’s a little known fact that Main St Local Kitchen is family owned & operated. Chef/Owner Ryan Clarke grew up here but like many, he left his hometown of Huntsville to live & learn in the industry. In 2015, he came back with his wife and business partner, Christina Clarke, to raise a family, build a business and contribute to the community.

Main St. Local Kitchen is all about food you can feel good about. They take pride in preparing your meals in-house using locally sourced ingredients. (Yes, that’s Chef Ryan in the back simmering soup and making burger patties.) Muskoka's Incredible Race provides a sampler of truly iconic Muskoka experiences. As your group moves from one activity to another, they will engage with local activity hosts and participate in at least twelve different activities, ranging from finding clues by stand up paddle board to building a loon's nest to dressing up as Algonquin Park animals. It is designed to suit a wide range of ages and abilities. Although Muskoka's Incredible Race generally happens in beautiful downtown Huntsville, it can come to you and is customizable. There is so much to do at Arrowhead Provincial Park, it is guaranteed to please even the biggest adventurers. Taking a trip to Algonquin Park is an Ontario bucket list must. Algonquin Provincial Park is made up of a thousand lakes, maple hills, rocky ridges, and includes eight campsites and 12 hiking trails. Come to spend a day with nature canoeing, swimming, and hiking while taking in the scenic views around you. If you're lucky, you might even spot a moose or a bear (from a distance). Muskoka is renowned for its spectacular waterfalls carved into the granite rock of the Canadian Shield. With hiking trails available at most locations to create access, ‘chasing waterfalls’ can be a great activity in the summer and fall. Bracebridge is at the heart of the waterfalls in Muskoka, boasting more than any other township, most notably High Falls, Wilson Falls, and Bracebridge Falls. One of the region’s most spectacular cascades is Ragged Falls, located east of Huntsville on Hwy 60, at Ragged Falls Provincial Park. This was voted one of the 10 best waterfalls in Ontario! Muskoka’s trail network covers some 4000 sq kms of rugged terrain. Vast forests of spruce, pine, poplar, tamarack, balsam and birch are easily accessible by some of Ontario’s best hiking trail systems.
