What do I Pack?
A trip is always exciting! You’re about to see new sights, meet new people, and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation! A vacation rental with Jayne’s is a lot different than staying at a hotel – you are getting an entire property to yourself! Packing can also look a little different, but don’t worry, we’re going to make things as easy for you as possible because we know that packing for such a big trip can be daunting. We don’t want you to have to lug everything plus the kitchen sink with you either!
We want your packing with Jayne’s to be just as easy as if you were going to pack for a stay at a hotel – How do we make things easier; you ask? Let us tell you!
We start you off with a starter supply. No one wants to arrive at their new home away from home only to realize they can’t make a cup of coffee! We’ve got you covered! We provide a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, tin foil, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, dish soap, garbage bags, recycling bags, laundry tabs, and dishwasher tabs. All the essentials to get you started.
We provide linens! You don’t have to worry about packing bulky beach towels. Many of our properties come with beach towels, and if they don’t, you can rent them for a very small fee for your entire visit. (Though you are perfectly welcome to bring your own!)
We can do the shopping! Don’t want to pack two weeks’ worth of meals to haul into the cottage? Don’t worry – our Concierge Team can take care of that for you! Just reach out to our team with your grocery list and they’ll have it waiting in the cupboards for you when you arrive.
Small Appliances? Our properties come stocked with many appliances. If you are not sure if your property has a certain appliance, just ask! We can let you know, and often can have any missing appliances delivered!
Let us do the cooking! If you really don’t want to worry about food, there’s always the option of letting our concierge arrange restaurant reservations or a private chef! Now THAT is how to vacation!
That leaves you free to worry about what to pack for yourself, not for the house. We can’t wait to have you!
