Star Acre cottage is located on John's Bay Tobin Island, 5 minutes from Parkers Marine for mainland parking. Beautiful south exposure, 500' of private frontage includes swimming dock and boathouse dock.

PROPERTY

Massive property includes boathouse, fire pit, children's structure, golf cart path from boathouse to cottage and behind to bunkie. Lots of space for a great game of hide and seek or just hiding!  Level land, sandy beach and deep water off the dock has all ages at heart!

Park either at the boathouse dock and walk along the golf cart path to the main cottage or park at the swimming dock directly in front of the main cottage.

Fire pit and beach, outdoor shower and children's playset, hammock and swim raft this property has it all!

INTERIOR

MAIN COTTAGE - MAIN FLOOR

Large deck upon your entry into the cottage with outdoor dining and large awning overhead.  Enter the main floor and be in awe with the design of the cottage. Main floor great room with large stone fireplace, comfortable seating and flatscreen TV, as well as a large kitchen with dining for 10. Bedrooms consist of a main floor master with a full bath ensuite bathroom and a walkout to deck. There are 3 additional bedrooms located off the Great Room, along with an upper loft (with TV) that is perfect for kids!  

UPPER FLOOR

The upper loft opens above the Great Room and houses a pull-out couch and a TV.

BUNKIE

Follow a path out the back of the main cottage to an adorable 2-storey bunkie. The lower level is a designer sitting area and the above is a couch which turns into a King bed with AC. Washroom is accessible from outside and is a 2-piece.  

BOATHOUSE

South Beach, here we come! Boathouse comes equipped with a massive covered porch, complete with outdoor dining for 10, and a 2-sided indoor/outdoor gas fireplace, and large sectional couch. The boathouse also wraps around the front, where there are plenty of lounge chairs and an open deck - perfect for sun tanning!  

Inside you will find an elegant, open-concept kitchen/great room with a full size fridge, a dishwasher, a sink and a microwave. Guests will also find four barstools, as well as double couches located in front of the gas fireplace. Plenty of sleeping as well - two bedrooms - one is a screened-in bedroom that contains a single bed as well as bunk beds (double on bottom, single on top), the second bedroom off the living area is a Queen bedroom and access to the ensuite full bathroom.

Boathouse includes 4 indoor boat slips.  Lower boathouse also contains washer and dryer, outdoor shower.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy by Agency - If the cottage is struck by disaster prior to the start date then the contract will be null and void and payments refunded.

Cancellation Policy by Guest -
Guest may cancel the agreement 150 days prior to the start of the rental period, the deposit will be returned less a fee of $2000 per week of reservation, if rental is under $20,000 per week. For rentals at $20,000 and over, the cancellation fee is $4000/week of rental. If the Guest cancels the agreement 61 to 149 days prior to the start of the rental all deposits will be forfeited. If the Guest cancels the agreement less than 60 days before the start of the rental agreement the Guest is responsible for the full amount of the rent and is not entitled to any refund.

Deposit Policy
Deposit Policy - 50% of Rental Amount is due at time of booking, 25% if booked the calendar year prior to the rental and 25% on January 1 of the rental year. Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Please note that there is a $250 penalty associated with late payment of the balance between 59-46 days prior to the commencement of the rental that will be charged to your credit card. At 45 days prior to the rental, Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking as cancelled as per below.

Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking of any Guest as cancelled in the event that: a) the Guest gives written notification of cancellation; b) the Guest fails to pay the full deposit due or the balance of rent by the time specified above. In the event that the booking is so cancelled, Jayne's Cottages may re-book the property for the period concerned or for part of that period.
