Landscaped lawn with three shared fire pits to relax and enjoy the views of Lake Muskoka. Equipped with a pickleball / basketball court, horseshoes and many other family activities. There is also a clubhouse with games for everyone to enjoy.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

Stays from 06/21/2025 to 09/02/2025 our cancellation policy is as follows:  If you need to cancel and it is 30 days or more before your arrival date a full refund will be given. Cancellation under 30 days the deposit will be forfeited. 

All other times of the year, the cancellation policy is as follows: If you need to cancel and it is 7 days or more before your arrival date a full refund will be given. For cancellations under 7 days the deposit will be forfeited.  

For groups that book, our cancellation policy is as follows for groups of 3 or more Villas. If some or all the group needs to cancel, and it is 30 days or more before the arrival date a full refund will be given. Cancellations under 30 days the deposit will be forfeited. (This applies all year round.)

Deposit Policy

Deposit Policy: 50% of Rental Amount is due at time of booking.  If your rental's arrival date is greater than 6 months from the booking date, the 25% is due upon booking and 25% is due 6 months prior to the commencement of the rental.  Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Please note that there is a $250 penalty associated with late payment of the balance between 59-46 days prior to the commencement of the rental that will be charged to your credit card. At 45 days prior to the rental, Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking as cancelled as per below.

Security Deposit Policy:
Security Deposit: The Security Deposit is calculated as 40% of the peak season weekly rental rate for 1 week rentals and 25% of the total rental value if the reservation is longer than 2 weeks. If the rental period is not in the peak season, there is a minimum security deposit that will be applied.

Payment Fees:
Credit Card - If you are paying with credit card, the service fee for AMEX is 3.8% and Mastercard/VISA is 3%.
Wire - If you are paying via wire transfer, the service fee is $17 per wire.

Jayne's Cottages is entitled to treat the booking of any Guest as cancelled in the event that: a) the Guest gives written notification of cancellation; b) the Guest fails to pay the full deposit due or the balance of rent by the time specified above. In the event that the booking is so cancelled, Jayne's Cottages may re-book the property for the period concerned or for part of that period.

LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS
Bookings made within 24 hours of arrival will be charged an additional $1,000 Booking Fee.
Bookings made within 48 hours of arrival will be charged a $500 Booking Fee.
